What is human resource management

It is being said by many Human resource practitioners that 15% of success is due to technical skill and 85% due to skill in human engineering, but it is possible when you manage your resources effectively. Management of human resources is basically known as Human Resource Management. Human resource management is important ingredient for organizational success. It involves are elements that are essential to magnetize, build up and preserve quality desired and competent employees. Large organizations always take care of organizational and human resource and management.

According to Business Dictionary Human Resource management is conducting job analysis, planning personnel needs, recruiting the right people for the job, orienting and training, managing wages and salaries, providing benefit and incentives, evaluating performance, resolving disputes and communicating with all employees at all levels.

If we talk about why human resource management is important? HRM is important to achieve goals of the organization, to utilize skill set of employees successfully, to make available motivated and well trained employees, to maintain quality of work performed. With better workplace and HR policies an enterprise can change its status from a common unfamiliar organization to a world class and exemplary organization where HR policies, proper recruitment system, hiring of best available resource, providing incentives (rewards) to employee would be top most priority for goal chasing. Human resource management considers its hired resources as an asset for the organization.

The key reason behind their success is that they suggest strategies to motivate their employees for commitment with the organization. They take care of their needs time to time so they don't get diverted and think to leave their workplace, because main thing is not just recruiting and selecting best talent but retaining them for long run within the organization which is ultimately beneficial both; for resource and for organization.
